200 posts and cupcakes!

I'm in La-La Land!

Okay so I discovered a new company while placing an order for my store! La-La Land Crafts! They have the cutest images. I just can't get enough! And the best part is, they have both acrylic AND rubber stamps! Yay! I've ordered some rubber stamps for my store so watch for that announcement soon!  The pre-order list is up on the IASC blog if you want to check it out!

Anyways, I was linking this up to the LLLC customer gallery and thought I'd post it here to share! :D This photo was taken what seems like years ago...(my DD is not even 3 yet so this photo is MAYBE 2 years old!) Anyways, the colours in the photo and the colours of the papers I wanted to use from Basic Grey just seemed to flow together nicely and the Sweet Dreams Marci image from LLLC was PERFECT! PLUS she's got a panda in her hand...that makes the image for me! I'll be ordering more pandas for sure!

Challenge #3 at The Stamping Boutique!

It's challenge time again at The Stamping Boutique...and this is my layout for this challenge! We had to make our own flowers. So, seeing I already make these for my store, I decided to use my Button Blossoms for this layout. They are customizable to match your papers. You can match whatever you'd like!

I've been DYING to scrapbook this picture. So when I saw these papers, I knew which picture I would use! 

The stamp from TSB is the spool! I cut it a bit to wrap the floss around it...and the stems are handstitched too with Bazzill stitching templates.

Gift Bag Donation for Zeal for Teal Crop - April 30th!

This is one of my donations for our Zeal for Teal crop (we're still looking for donations BTW if you are a business and would like to sponsor us for door prizes/silent auction items - shameless plug there! So this is what I'm donating for a silent auction item. I wanted to represent the 3 INCREDIBLE design teams I'm on! I LOVE designing for each of them! It's so exciting!

So, I have a funny story about my card I made for today...this card is actually based on the CIC#24 sketch that I posted on Friday! Oopsy me! I did this card with the sketch thinking it was for the CIC Challenge...then remembered as I was putting the Stickles on that the Hippo was for today's ZOO theme! DUH! So, I made my real CIC Challenge card! AND I already had this one done for the hop! 

I rotated the sketch 45 degrees so everything fit...it was a great sketch to use! That's why I wanted to use it twice!

CIC #24 for Clearly Dollar Stamps

It's CIC Challenge time at Clear Dollar Stamps again!

I used the same Bunny Slippers set as last time! 

This challenge is a sketch challenge

The papers and the sentiment (in black) are from the set.

The flower is cut out on the Cricut and is Basic Grey paper..and the sentiment in the middle is a rubber stamp! :D The green buttons are Basic Grey as well and the bunny button is from my stash! :D

I hand-stitched the leaves using a Bazzill Stitching template.

The winner will be announced at the end of the month! The more people that participate the bigger the prize!!

Here are the details of the CIC challenges:

-Challenges are now going to be on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, and you'll have 2 weeks to finish each challenge.

-Challenges can use any stamps or digis from any company

-Only one entry per person per challenge

-Prizes will be given away after both challenges for the month.  The number of prizes is determined by the number of participants for the month.  For every 20 entries there will be a $10 gift certificate for stamps or digis up for grabs.  (For example if over the entire month there were a total of 60 participants in both challenges, there will be 3 $10 gift certificates and 3 of the featured digital images to give away.)

-We will also be giving away the featured digi image....one for every 20 entries!

Reveal Day at CDS!

It's reveal day at Clear Dollar Stamps! YAY! I was SO excited when I saw this collection..these are just 2 of the cupcakes that are in the set! I have more printed off that I'm going to create with this month! You will LOVE them! They even come with matching digital papers!  Some I used in my attempt at digital scrapbooking (see the layout underneath the card!)

This is my attempt at digital scrapbooking on my PSE! It turned out not too much of a train wreck! I just LOVE the cupcakes! I cannot get enough of them! I'm thinking I might print them off large and turn them into stickers for my daughter's bedroom walls! I just LOVE them! The possibilities are endless!  You can see the digital papers on my layout...the stripes and you can sort of see the sprinkles underneath the cupcakes!
