Happy Mother's Day

Mom and I are headed out to a crop this weekend! I'm very excited! I'm taking Mom for Mother's Day! It's a fundraiser for the Nursery school in town so it's for a good cause too!

Sassy Saturday - Blog Hop and Party!

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good day so far!! The ladies at SSD are having a blog hop to celebrate the release happening TODAY! If you want to get your hands on the new images, head over to the store and snag 'em up! You will want ALL of them! They are awesome!!!



First of all, we're doing a scavenger hunt...you need to hop to all the DT's blogs and finish up at the PCP SSD group [if you haven't posted on the SSD blog, head back and start there!!] You will have 2 days to post a comment and be entered to win the deadline is midnight PST Sunday May 2nd and the winners will be announced throughout the day on Monday!

Now, the Scavenger hunt part...at each of the blogs you will get a keyword.You will need to go around your house a gather all of these items and take a picture of them and email them to Sara {her email is on the SSD blog}. 1 random winner will be selected of all the entries with all the images that winner will get any 3 SSD images of their choosing.

EDITTED: To create the pants, I printed the image on pattern paper that looks like denim and cut them out...I paper pieced it!

Sassy Studio Designs challenge

Sassy Studio Designs May 1st reveal happens tomorrow on National Scrapbooking Day! The new images will be up and ready for purchase as of 12am PST [so that's 3am for us EST-ers!]...the Party Blog will be up as of 5pm PST-7pm PST for the reveal and free images and mini contests and PRIZES galore!

Thinking Thursday

This is amazing! I well up with tears every time I watch it...I mean EVERY time...it touches me so much and I don't know why! I don't know these people...I'm not really sure why it touches me...Mom had this posted on her blog awhile ago and my son LOVES it! I just had to share it!

Tempting Tuesday....

So here are some more sneak peeks at the new release for May at Sassy Studio Designs...

I paper pieced the top portion of her top...it looks kinda tweed-ish...I really like this one! Lindsay did a GREAT job with this release...you will NOT want to miss out!

This one is inspired by Sara's daughter Chelsea and her prom dress! I got the colours wrong on the other image I coloured so I coloured one that looks like Chelsea!

And this is the every day Chelsea! I love the fact that she's in street clothes now! I paper pieced her denim skirt and coloured the rest...
