This is a double duty post today!
I've got two design team projects to post!
First up is for Clear Dollar Stamps - it was a CIC#23 - a colour challenge this time around...we had to use the colours above to create our cards...I used the Bunny Slippers set because, well, they were the right colours! And because I loved this adorable set!
All the papers minus the black cardstock are from the set. That's what I love about these sets Laurie creates. She usually has some designer papers to go along with the digital images. This set is no exception!
You don't have to use these exact colors if you don't have them, just come close! You've got 2 weeks to strut your stuff using these colors.
Here are the details of the CIC challenges:
-Challenges are now going to be on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, and you'll have 2 weeks to finish each challenge.
-Challenges can use any stamps or digis from any company
-Only one entry per person per challenge
-Prizes will be given away after both challenges for the month. The number of prizes is determined by the number of participants for the month. For every 20 entries there will be a $10 gift certificate for stamps or digis up for grabs. (For example if over the entire month there were a total of 60 participants in both challenges, there will be 3 $10 gift certificates and 3 of the featured digital images to give away.)
-We will also be giving away the featured digi image....one for every 20 entries!
**************************************************************
And this one is for Sassy Studio Designs. We're sponsoring Stamp Something, a challenge blog...you'll have to check it out once they've got the new challenge posted to see what you can win from SSD!
Our challenge was to use a digital image! Not too hard, eh! I chose to use the Wicked Witch from the West. The inside of it says "Hope things get better soon". I didn't know what else to use this image for except something UGLY! I didn't want it looking too Halloween-y!
I tried to "ugly" up the papers by distressing them with my distress tool and inks and faux stitching. The sentiment I came up with! I used the "hello my pretty" phrase from the Wizard of Oz movie..I had to tie it in somehow and thought this would be a perfect way to do it.
Thanks for stopping by today to check out my cards! I need to get off the computer now and get ready for a workshop/show tomorrow! YIKES!

Hi Amanda....what a sweet bunny slippers card. Love how you cut it out. And that witch...she's awesome.
Love those bunny slippers!! Too cute!
I just got the Stamping boutique newsletter and love your card! Thr rhinestones in the middle of the circles on the embossed paper really wowed me. I have that folder and am excited to try it~what a great idea! Thanks for inspiring me!
