Blog Hop @ In A Scrap Creations...

It's our first blog hop at IASC. We are very excited about it because it's not just for our regular release but we're also doing a OWH preview. 


OWH stands for Operation Write Home.  The design team has created cards for the troops to use to send back to their families when they are deployed.

This will be sent to OWH to be distributed to the troops abroad. There are specific guidelines you need to follow if you want to join us in making cards for the troops.  You will find them here.

We'd love it if you created our own card and/or cards to ship to OWH. If you do, please post it on your blog and link it in the comment section of the post on the IASC blog.   

Also, we are doing our IASC release. This month is "Silly Owls"...the set is $3 and you get 6 images (that's only 50 cents each)...these are pre-coloured and ready to use for your quick card needs. You will find them listed here in the store.  School is ending in a month or so and you'll need those grad cards for your graduating students, whether it's from JK or High School or Post-secondary education...check out what the rest of the design team has created.

This is my project from the newest release...sorry for the not so great photo...I had to take it with my cell phone (thank goodness for camera phones!). The batteries in my camera died this week! :(

I cut the bag with my Cricut. It is a shower favour...it holds little packages of kleenex. I'm thinking this little bag will be making an appearance a lot. This was the first time I used it. It's a simple project but I wanted the cute little pregnant girl to be the focus of the favour.

REVEAL DAY at CDS and CIC#26 Chalelnge

It's reveal day at Clear Dollar Stamps! 

I just love this set! You have to check out the CDS store later on today once the store has been updated...you need to purchase this set (I will be showcasing more cards this month!). It is SO cute!

For my card, I actually merged 3 images to make this one image for the card. The bubble paper and the blue flowers (behind the image) are two of the matching digital papers!  The sentiment is from an old Hanna Stamps set...it says "A clean house is a sign of a lazy stamper"! :D I thought it was fitting for this image!

This is my CIC#26 Challenge card...I decided to try my hand at a digital card...I'm loving my PSE program! My batteries died in my camera so I needed a quick solution and the camera on my cell phone isn't that great (I learned that last week).

Graphicat Designs Project

So I came across another AWESOME digital stamp company that I have bookmarked for future purchases! I had to go buy one of the Graphicat Designs stamps...it was PERFECT for me! I just HAD to create with it right away!

It's actually based on the April Sketch Challenge at GCD...this is the sketch...

This is my creation...

It's actually a canvas...I painted it a little and then did the creation separately. I have it hanging in my living room already! I just love the sentiment! It's so me!
